Lunch Bunch @ Burger Shack

Lunch with these friends is one of the highlights of my week or month, depending on how often we get together.  We are a random group that are now connected through food.  We have all known each other for a while but each of us are connected to each other in a different way.  Some are neighbors, some are friends, some family and some of us became friends because our kids are friends.  But this time for us at lunch has become something we all look forward too.

This week we ventured out to one of our favorites in Downtown Benton...Burger Shack.  There is a chance of snow in our forecast so I wanted soup and grilled cheese.   You can get burgers, shakes, salads, chicken and lots of other favorites.  I have not had a thing there I haven't been happy with.  

We never leave there without seeing someone else we know and if your lucky you'll even see Freddy...the downtown Benton staple and Benton's Biggest Fan.

I am a Realtor and also my husband's assistant in his secondary business.  As for me and my family, I've been married to my husband for almost 25 years (I think...let me do the math...yep that's right) and we have two kids 20 and 17.  Our son is a sophomore at Ouachita Baptist and our daughter is a senior in high school at Benton.

We have lived in Benton for almost 9 years.  We made the move for the schools and to be closer to my parents.  It was a great move for us and I can't wait to highlight some of my favorite restaurants, boutiques, businesses, sports teams and outdoor fun.  And just be prepared for a lot of randomness.

I'm also a real estate agent with Century 21 Parker & Scroggins Realty.  I love my job and love helping people.  Saline County is a fabulous place to live with wonderful schools and wonderful people.
